The Semester Summary Report provides a comprehensive picture of student performance during a particular semester on data collected from four of five data sources used in our Electronic Assessment System: KARS , Field Experience Evaluations, Institutional Data, and Portfolio Evaluations. The report includes the following components: (1) semester and year of the report, (2) number of program major students enrolled in courses during the particular semester, (3) average SAT Reading, Math, and Writing scores and the range of SAT scores for the student set, (4) average QPA and range for the student set, (5) average QPA and range in major courses, (6) a frequency table showing the Praxis exam results from tests recorded for the particular semester for program students enrolled in courses, (7) correlations of SAT Reading, Math, and Writing to Praxis Reading, Math, and Writing, respectively, (8) correlation of average QPA to Praxis II pass scores, (9) average student teaching ratings for program students and all unit students by INTASC and Danielson Domain indicators, (10) average Portfolio ratings by INTASC and Danielson Domain , and (11) the Aggregated Key Assessment indicator report for the particular program courses. The report is currently applied to both Initial and Advanced Programs, but during Phase 2 of the project, a new Semester Summary Report will be prepared for the Advanced Programs. The report as currently configured does not directly apply to the Advanced Programs since Institutional Data for SAT scores is not kept for all advanced students and the individual programs are responsible for maintaining their own data files related to internship Field Experiences and Portfolio evaluations.
